We did the English class today. My Dad gave them some American candy, which they loved! I know they learned a lot of English. We played a game with a maze. We had a team leader and we had to step into a grid on the ground. If we went in the right or wrong spot, the leader would tell us. We had to figure out the pattern on the ground without seeing the pattern. I think the people had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures:
Hello dear team! You are in our thoughts and prayers constantly! You may be very tired and overwhelmed, but remember Who is in you and that He will work through you even in your weakness. You are blessed, dear friends! I keep thinking about Michael's post: "We started to do our mission work. The job of us kids is to make sure that the kids are having fun so that their parents don't worry about them and can hear about God." Thank you, Michael! I can't help thinking that sometimes we need to be reminded of that simple truth as adults, as well. "The job of us adults is to make sure other people are feeling loved so that they don't have to worry about life and fitting in, and then they can hear about God." Jesus said it this way: John 17:20-23 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
ReplyDeleteSo, that is my prayer for you today, dear ones. That you may simply love those around you - each other first and then your Polish friends - and that you will be amazed at how God works through you. Love to you all!
